‘As a lover of history, the chance to explore the layers of lives that have walked among the walls of this beautiful building is a dream come true. I am honoured to be The Commandery’s first Poet in Residence, and am excited beyond belief to be able to present these stories to visitors through both written and spoken word!’

WPL – Poppy Appeal Continues

Last month Worcestershire Poet Laureate, Leena Batchelor, created an event to raise money for the Poppy Appeal as part of the Royal British Legion 11/11 challenge.

This ticketed event raised over £70 for the RBL. Recordings are still available in exchange for a donation, all money raised is going to the Royal British Legion. If you missed it and are interesting in accessing the 11/11 event please contact Leena directly at worcspoet2020-Leena[at]yahoo.com for more details.
